The Challenge:

Waterloo Rod Company manufactures custom fishing rods in Victoria TX. Their high performance rods can be purchased at retailers throughout the Texas and Louisiana Gulf Coast. Rods, reels, apparel, gear, and gift cards can also be purchased at waterloorods.com.

Like many exhibitors, Waterloo Rod discovered Exhibit Network on the show floor several years before seeking our help. Waterloo had a 20×40 peninsula booth at the 45th Annual Houston Fishing Show in March 2020. Waterloo Rod had several needs:

  • brand recognition

  • more floor space for customers

  • effective merchandise displays

  • security

The Solution:

For brand recognition, Exhibit Network designed and built a large rectangular back wall structure that was branded on all four sides and visible from all directions in the exhibit hall.

To create more floor space for customers, Exhibit Network replaced several clothing racks and product displays with slat wall on the back wall structure. Hanging the merchandise high on the slat wall made it more visible and opened up the floor space to customers. With the additional floor space, Waterloo was better able to monitor and assist customers.

For added security, the back wall structure included a lockable closet where merchandise was stored and restocked as needed during the show.

After this event, all the booth properties returned to Exhibit Network’s warehouse for storage.
